Why am I not receiving emails from GA.NU?

If you’re not receiving emails from GA.NU (for example, for resetting your password, invoices, verification links, or renewal reminders), use the checklist below to quickly find and fix the issue.

What we send and where it comes from

GA.NU sends transactional and account-related emails from GA.NU-managed domains. Typical senders are:

We recommend adding these addresses and the domains ga.nu and mail.ga.nu to your safe senders list/allowlist. See Allowlist GA.NU below.

    Quick checks first

    Before changing settings, try this:

    • Wait a few minutes: Most messages arrive within 2–5 minutes, but some providers delay mail from new senders for up to 15 minutes.
    • Check Spam/Junk and other mailbox tabs: Gmail Promotions/Updates, Outlook Other, Yahoo Views, and your company’s quarantine folders.
    • Search your mailbox for GA.NU:
      • Gmail example:
        in:anywhere (from:ga.nu OR from:mail.ga.nu) newer_than:7d

      • Outlook/Exchange example: search for from:@ga.nu or subject contains "GA.NU".
    • Check mailbox limits: If your mailbox is full, free up space and ask us to resend.
    • If you use forwarding, also check the original mailbox: Forwarding chains can filter or drop messages.

Make sure we have the right email address

    • Sign in to your GA.NU account and open Account > Profile > Email. Confirm the address is spelled correctly and verified. Update it if needed and choose Resend verification.
    • Some domain-related notifications may go to the domain’s contact email (Registrant/Admin/Technical) instead of your GA.NU account email, depending on your settings. Confirm these contact addresses are valid and monitored.

    Examples:

    • Password resets, sign-in notifications, and invoices usually go to your GA.NU account email.
    • Transfer approvals and certain contact verifications can go to the domain’s Registrant or Admin contact email.

Not sure which address is used for a specific notification? Check Account > Notifications or your domain’s Contacts settings.

Allowlist GA.NU (Never send to spam)

Adding GA.NU to your safe senders list (allowlist) helps bypass aggressive filters.

    Examples:

    • Gmail (web):
      1. Open Settings (gear) > See all settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses > Create a new filter.
      2. From: @ga.nu OR @mail.ga.nu
      3. Create filter > check Never send it to Spam > Create filter.
    • Outlook.com (web): Settings > Mail > Junk email > Safe senders and domains > Add ga.nu and mail.ga.nu.
    • Yahoo Mail: Settings > More Settings > Security and Privacy > Add sender/domain.
    • Microsoft 365 (admin): Exchange admin center > Protection > Policies > Anti-spam > Allowed senders/domains > Add ga.nu and mail.ga.nu. Run a Message trace if needed.

    Tip (quick Gmail search):

    from:(@ga.nu OR @mail.ga.nu)

Create a filter from this search and choose Never send it to Spam.

Check whether you unsubscribed or are on a suppression list

    • Marketing vs. transactional: Unsubscribing from newsletters and product updates does not affect password resets and critical account notifications. If your mailbox previously bounced our emails or reported them as spam, our system may temporarily suppress sending to protect deliverability.
    • Fix:
      • Update/verify your email in Account > Profile.
      • Ensure your mailbox can receive new mail (not full; filters updated).
      • Contact Support to review and remove suppression after you’ve resolved the issue.

    Password reset email not received

    • Verify the exact account email address: Password resets only go to the GA.NU account address we have on file. If you have multiple email addresses, try the other one.
    • Do not click multiple times in quick succession: Several rapid requests can delay or throttle delivery. Wait 10–15 minutes before trying again.
    • Check all folders and tabs, then search:
      in:anywhere subject:(GA.NU) OR from:(@ga.nu)

    • Still nothing? Contact Support. For security reasons, we cannot send password resets to a different address, but we’re happy to help verify ownership and restore your access.

If your IT/admin manages your email

Share this with your mail/security team:

    • Allowlist domains: ga.nu and mail.ga.nu
    • Safe senders: *@ga.nu and *@mail.ga.nu
    • Ensure link rewriting/sandboxing does not block or break one-time links.
    • Our messages are authenticated with industry-standard email authentication. If you enforce strict DMARC or bulk filtering, ensure rules do not quarantine transactional mail from new senders.
    • Use Message trace to confirm delivery, deferrals, or blocks, and provide Support with the trace results if issues persist.

Do you use forwarding? Prefer a direct mailbox for GA.NU

Forwarding services sometimes drop or delay messages, especially those with one-time or secure links. For critical GA.NU notifications, use a direct mailbox as your account email instead of a forwarded alias.

    Security reminder

    • Only trust emails sent from the domains ga.nu or mail.ga.nu.
    • We never ask for your password by email.
    • Payments are processed exclusively via the GA.NU website. Contact Support if anything looks suspicious before clicking any links.

    Need more help?

    Contact GA.NU Support with:

    • The email address where you expected the message.
    • The type of email (password reset, invoice, verification, transfer, etc.).
    • The (approximate) time you initiated or expected it.
    • Your GA.NU username and the domain(s) involved.
    • Any Message trace results (if available) and a screenshot of your allowlist/safe senders settings.

We’ll investigate delivery, resend if needed, and help restore normal mail flow.
