Account Management

    Your GA.NU account gives you access to manage domains, billing, and personal settings. Here's how to manage your account.

    Sign In Methods

    GA.NU supports two ways to sign in:

    Email and Password

    • Sign up with any email address
    • Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters)
    • Use "Forgot Password" if you need to reset it

    Google Account

    • Quick sign-up and sign-in with your Google account
    • No separate password to remember
    • Uses your Google account's security features

    Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

    For extra security, you can enable two-factor authentication:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Find the Security section
    3. Enable 2FA
    4. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator)
    5. Enter the code to confirm
    6. Save your recovery codes in a safe place

    With 2FA enabled, you'll need your authenticator app code each time you sign in.

    Changing Your Email

    If you need to change your account email:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Find the email section
    3. Enter your new email address
    4. Verify the new address by clicking the link we send

    For security, you may need to confirm this change from your old email as well.

    Changing Your Password

    To change your password:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Find the password section
    3. Enter your current password
    4. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
    5. Confirm the new password

    Language Preferences

    GA.NU supports 13 languages. To change your language:

    • Use the language selector in the navigation bar
    • Your preference is saved automatically
    • The entire interface will switch to your chosen language

    Supported languages include: English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Indonesian.

    Profile Information

    You can update your profile information including:

    • First and last name
    • Profile picture (if using Google sign-in)

    Deleting Your Account

    If you need to delete your account, please note:

    • Active domains must be canceled or transferred first
    • Account deletion is permanent
    • Contact support for account deletion requests

    Keeping Your Account Secure

    Recommendations for account security:

    • Use a strong, unique password
    • Enable two-factor authentication
    • Keep your email address up to date
    • Don't share your login credentials
    • Sign out when using shared computers
