Registering a Subdomain

    Getting your own .ga.nu subdomain takes just a few minutes. Here's how to do it.

    Step 1: Search for Availability

    On our homepage, enter the name you want in the search box. For example, if you want mybrand.ga.nu, just type "mybrand".

    The search will instantly tell you if the domain is:

    • Available — You can register it now
    • Unavailable — Already registered by someone else
    • Reserved — Held for special purposes

    Step 2: Review Pricing

    Pricing is based on the length of your chosen name:

    • 2-letter domains — $349/year
    • 3-letter domains — $129/year
    • 4+ letter domains — $9.99/year

    The price is shown clearly before you proceed.

    Step 3: Create an Account

    If you don't already have a GA.NU account, you'll need to create one:

    • Email and password — Standard signup with your email
    • Google account — Quick signup with your Google account

    If you already have an account, just sign in.

    Step 4: Complete Payment

    We accept credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor (Stripe). Your payment includes:

    • One year of domain registration
    • DNS management through GA.NU
    • Access to your domain dashboard

    Step 5: Start Using Your Domain

    After successful payment, your domain is activated immediately. You can:

    • Add DNS records right away
    • Point it to your website or hosting
    • Set up email routing
    • Configure custom nameservers if needed

    Domain Rules

    When choosing a name, keep in mind:

    • Minimum 2 characters, maximum 63 characters
    • Only letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-)
    • Cannot start or end with a hyphen
    • Case-insensitive (MyBrand and mybrand are the same)
